Ariel Re has appointed Tim Shreeve as chief commercial officer.

In this role, Mr Shreeve will focus on identifying and advancing opportunities for growth across the business, the Bermudian-based reinsurer said.

Working closely with clients, brokers and colleagues, he will help evaluate emerging opportunities, assess their strategic and commercial potential, and support the development of new initiatives.

Mr Shreeve, who is based in Bermuda, joined Ariel Re in 2021 as head of platform development and has played an important role in supporting the company's strategic development.
