A Progressive Labour Party leadership candidate will host a back to school event to bring in the return to class on a high note.

Jason Hayward and his campaign team will have refreshments, activities and prizes during the community event in Devonshire tomorrow.

Mr Hayward, who serves as the Minister of Economy and Labour, said: “We wanted to create an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy themselves and send our students into the new school year surrounded by encouragement and positive energy.

“Our young people deserve to know that their community is behind them, believes in them and wants to see them succeed.”

Team Hayward’s back-to-school community event is free and open to everyone from 4pm to 8pm tomorrow at CedarBridge Academy.
