Our traditions past and present

Fellowship Hall at Vernon Temple AME Church was the venue this past week for the church’s monthly Seniors Inspirational Luncheon.

We are indebted to Ms Carolyn Pemberton and fellow members for the invitation to address them on the subject of ‘Bermuda Traditions Past and Present’.

The courtesies shown were overwhelmning, especially the irresistible invitation to be photographed above with volunteers honoured for their contributions to the club’s After School Tutorial Programme. Cited were Joan Van Putten, Cecilia Downs, Teresa Reynolds, Colleen Riley,Gina Munroe, Loretta Smith, Ruth Thomas, Lisa Ming, Joan Desaam and Sheila Carey.
