Butterfield shares gain ground in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,594.91, as no shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange on Friday.
There were no trades for the week on the BSX. All the exchange’s markets remain open for electronic trading during the lockdown period.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank gained 60 cents, or 1.58 per cent, to close at $38.64 on the New York Stock Exchange as 149,021 shares changed hands. The bank last traded on the BSX at $38.25.
The BSX Insurance Index climbed 47.9 points, or 2.78 per cent, on Friday.
