Butterfield down 1.54% on NYSE

Some 3,100 shares of BF&M Ltd traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but with no change to the closing price of $23.25.
Butterfield Bank shares was also unchanged at $37.50 after 30 shares changed hands. On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank's shares were down 57 cents, or 1.54 per cent, at $36.53.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,569.33.
Separately, Somers Limited purchased 500 of its own common shares in May, at an average cost of $17 per share. The shares will be cancelled with immediate effect.
