Overseas players in U-18 squad

Five overseas players have been included in the Bermuda Cricket Board’s (BCB) Under-18 training squad that was announced over the weekend.Included in the 20-man squad are Onias and Okera Bascome, Christian Burgess, William White and Kamau Leverock, all of whom are studying abroad.“This squad of talented young players has been picked with the future success of Bermuda cricket as the focus,” said national coach David Moore.“We have looked closely at a succession plan for the senior squad and have selected players to fill areas that may be affected due to retirement and positional depth.“We are also mindful of the 2013 Under-19 World Cup qualifiers and this year we will be preparing for an ICC Americas Under-18 Tournament to be held in Florida.”Bermuda squad: Onias Bascome (overseas), Okera Bascome (overseas), Christian Burgess (overseas), Alex Dore, Kamel Easton, Christion Gibbons-Wade, Joshua Gilbert, Kwasi James, Shaquille Jones, Kamau Leverock (overseas), Tre Manders, Delray Rawlins, Jordan Smith, Lateef Trott, William White (overseas), Cameron Gordon, Joshua Commissiong, Antonio Darrell, Demiko James, Jahnoi Bean
