Somerset 355 all out, beat Young Men’s Social Club, 82 all out, by 273 runsJordan DeSilva starred with the bat and Jacobi Robinson with the ball as Somerset thrashed Young Men’s Social Club in the KO Cup yesterday.Batting first at Somerset Cricket Club, the hosts set YMSC a mammoth 355 off 48.4 overs to chase, with DeSilva striking 140 not out, Kamal Easton hitting 73 and Shaquille Dill 55.Teenager seamer Sekiyah James was the pick of YMSC’s bowlers, taking four wickets for 24 runs.In reply, YMSC were skittled out for just 82 off 20 overs with Robinson claiming five wickets for 21 runs, while Kwasi James helped himself to three for 34.Warwick, 287 all out, beat St George’s 208 all out, by 79 runsLionel Cann continued his superb start to the season by hitting a century in Warwick’s win over St George’s at Wellington Oval yesterday.The Warwick player-coach, who blitzed 170 not out in a recent Twenty20 match, scored 147 against St George’s to help his team post 287 all out.Prior to Cann coming to the wicket, Warwick were struggling on 46 for four. He was well supported by Dwayne Adams who scored 52.Ankoma Cannonier was the best bowler for St George’s, taking three wickets for 63 runs.St George’s, who won the toss, were restricted to 208 all out off 42 overs in reply. Patrick Stamp top scored for the East Enders with 63.Flatts, 136 all out, beat PHC, 127 all out, by nine runsVernon Eve produced a five-wicket haul to help Flatts to a nine-run win over PHC at PHC Field.Winning the toss and electing to field, PHC restricted the visitors to 136 all out. Dejon Carey top scored with 54 not out, while Kevin Tucker grabbed four wickets for the hosts.In reply, Eve swung the game in his side’s favour with a deadly spell of bowling with PHC cruising at 100 for four.Nelson Bascome jr helped Eve with a tight line, although he didn’t pick up any wickets.Colin Stewart top scored for PHC with a knock of 22, while Delray Rawlins chipped in 17.n The result of yesterday’s match between Devonshire Rec and Cleveland County couldn’t be confirmed last night.
