Gunshots fired in Pembroke

Gunshots were fired in St Monica’s Road, Pembroke on Sunday night, the police revealed yesterday.

A spokesman said officers attended the scene around 9.15pm.

“Although forensic evidence collected confirmed that a firearm had been discharged, there were no reported injuries,” he said.

Anyone with information should call the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
