Mayho wins Flying Colours race

Winning feeling: Dominique Mayho

Dominic Mayho ended the year on a high note after winning the fourth race of the Flying Colours Fat Tyre Massive Race Series at Lagoon Park in Dockyard at the weekend.

Despite being more recognised for his road racing ability, Mayho showed his versatility, finishing ahead of Mark Hatherly and Robin Horsefield, who came second and third, in the Male A division. Matthew Oliveira won the Male B division, ahead of runner-up Daron Dowling and third place James Holloway. The Female B division honours went to Ashley Kirkpatrick, while Karen Smith claimed line honours in the Female Veteran class.

Dexter Swan won the Male Veteran class. In the Male Novice category, Billy Phillips beat Mark Hinton, who came second, and third place Ussef Eve. Alexandria Watlington won the Female Novice division ahead of Joanne Medeiros, who came second, and third place Brittney Uddin.

Dylan Hill defeated Alex Pilgrim and Kaden Hopkins in the Male 13-15 age group.

The female 13-15 category honours went to Tristan Harraway, who finished ahead of Victoria Davis and Cassy McPhee.

Malik Joell won the Male twelve and under section, beating Rayne Kowalchuk and Manning Smith, who came second and third.

Kayla Raymond won the Female 12-and-under section.
