College strengthens links with North American schools

Representatives of Bermuda College and Mount Saint Vincent University sign a new articulation agreement between the schools.

Bermuda College has strengthened relationships with Berkeley College, in the US, and Canada’s Mount Saint Vincent University to provide students with greater opportunities to continue their studies.According to a spokeswoman, the College recently signed articulation agreements with both schools allowing Bermuda College graduates to transition into their third year at the overseas institutions.Students with a GPA of at least 2.0 and who have completed all courses with at least a C grade are eligible to receive as many as 60 transfer credits at Berkeley College, which is based in the New York and New Jersey area.Bermuda College students are also eligible to apply for Berkeley’s International Student Scholarship, which covers up to 25 percent of tuition fees.And students who have completed 15 courses toward their Associate degree with a 2.0 GPA can enter their junior year at Canada’s Mount Saint Vincent University once they have graduated.
