Garbage normally collected on Friday - a public holiday - will be picked up on Saturday.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said: “Due to the Good Friday holiday, garbage normally collected on that day will be collected on Saturday.

“As a reminder, Friday garbage collection areas include Smith’s Parish east of Devil’s Hole, all of Hamilton and St. George’s parishes except the Old Town.

“East recycling collection areas include St. George’s, Hamilton, Smith’s, Pembroke, and Devonshire parishes with the exclusion of Tee Street and Kent Avenue.”
