Tired of ‘toxic’ talk radio show

Dear Sir,

When we listen to radio and radio talk shows, we get Everest who seems learned, humourous and plays great oldies. Gina is the calm, uplifting sort. Miss. Thang is professional and refreshing. Shirley is simply pleasant.

All the above seemingly are optimistic with a positive take on their show. All promote fairness, encouragement, inspiration and a general hope for the good of Bermuda and the people.

Then you have the “other show”; need I say more? The only adjective I can conjure up for this talk show is “toxic”, day in and day out.

Borderline defamation of character, misrepresentation, taking out of context, distortion and a platform to promote the Opposition are just a few of the disruptive methods of manipulation on her show.

And she performs with great enthusiasm and passion. This is poor-quality radio at its best. Like broadcasting the National Enquirer.

JUST VENTING

Political platform: A reader says one of the radio shows takes issues out of context
