Dear Sir,

Call me uptight, or a prude, but The Royal Gazette’s choice to include a full-page spread on sex and how it takes teamwork for either party to achieve orgasm, has in my opinion taken the paper to a new low (Lifestyle page 21, Monday, September 14, 2015).

I’ve always operated on the assumption that the local paper should be G- or PG-rated.

In fact, in an effort to open the minds of my children, I encourage them to read the paper when I can. In today’s largely unfiltered world of the internet, it would be comforting to know that I don’t have to preread the local paper for inappropriate content before handing it off to my adolescent children! Perhaps the sex-ed lessons could be left off the printed media and hosted only on your online version?
