Transforming finance and accounting

Bermuda-based financial solutions provider Emergence is joining BlackLine’s global Solution Provider Partner Programme to meet increasing demand from clients for accounting automation software solutions.

Emergence said the collaboration will help financial management, insurance and reinsurance companies to transform existing finance and accounting departments into true modern accounting organisations.

The cloud-based solution provides financial close and accounts receivable automation solutions.

Tim Kerr, Emergence president, said: “With a rapidly changing regulatory landscape and heightened demand for clear visibility into balance sheet data, finance and accounting must reconcile an increasingly vast amount of data.

“While enterprise resource planning and business intelligence systems collect, track and analyse business data, they do not automate account reconciliations and other critical F&A processes. BlackLine replaces manual spreadsheet-based processes and helps improve data accuracy, visibility and control.”

BlackLine scales from the smaller organisation to the Fortune 500.

Emergence said their deep understanding of Bermuda-based businesses, along with the full capabilities of BlackLine, makes this an excellent solution to automate and streamline, allowing for a continuous close process.

“BlackLine solution provider partners, such as Emergence, are seasoned consultants and experts in their fields who offer strategic guidance, deep technical skills and relevant expertise that extends our reach significantly and enables a much more rapid deployment of the BlackLine solution globally,” said Jess Tan, regional vice-president, Software Cloud Alliances and Solution Provider Channel, at BlackLine.

“By adding BlackLine to their product portfolios, our solution provider partners can provide their customers with a solution that we believe will deliver visible ROI. We look forward to a very collaborative go-to-market approach with Emergence.”
