Or who has replaced plastic cutlery with stainless steel forks, knives and spoons?You get the picture. Chances are that you know of someone in your office who has taken similar actions. If that’s the case, we want to strongly encourage you to nominate them for the “Green Champion” category as part of our Green Workplace Awards.The Green Workplace Awards sets out to recognise those companies who are making efforts in their environmental and sustainable practices.The “Green Champion” category will recognise an individual (or individuals) who has put in an outstanding effort to reduce the environmental impact of their company, even if their efforts have met resistance.The “Green Champion” nomination process is straightforward simply include the person(s) name, role in the company, and a description of their efforts and contribution and submit by 5pm on Thursday, June 30 to info[AT]greenrock.org. Winners in all categories for the Green Workplace Awards will be selected by a judging panel in August and featured in the November issue of The Bottom Line.
