Computer company enters receivership
manufacturer Wang, has gone into receivership.
Details about the extent of the company's debts were unavailable yesterday.
Callers to NADS were greeted with a recorded message stating that the firm's offices were "temporarily closed''.
It went on to add that Mr. Charles Kempe and Mr. Gil Tucker, of the accountancy firm Kempe & Whittle, had been appointed as joint receivers.
NADS, which has offices in Wesley Street, Hamilton, is believed to currently employ about seven people -- down from an estimated 18 people earlier in the year.
Mr. Tucker had a meeting with staff late yesterday afternoon but could not be reached for comment by The Royal Gazette .
It is believed that some of NADS' problems may have stemmed from a loss of confidence among some customers in the products of Boston-baseda Wang, which entered bankruptcy protection in the US and is now being restructured.
