CoP appoints Darrell to development role

Tioné Darrell

The Centre on Philanthropy (CoP) has named Tioné Darrell as its development and engagement officer, the organisation announced this week.

CoP executive director Elaine Williams said: “COP has spent the past year implementing a new, four-year strategic plan with a focus on serving and strengthening the boards, volunteers and services of the non-profits of Bermuda. A part of that strategy is strengthening our dynamic team.”

Ms Darrell will be responsible for developing and executing CoP’s membership and funding programme, and is also responsible for ensuring revenue growth as well as “fostering and engaging stakeholder relationships.”

“She will also design and implement specific programmes that engage and support our entire membership.”

CoP said it exists to “serve and strengthen the boards, volunteers and services of the non-profits of Bermuda”.

“We believe in a Bermuda where effective and efficient charities and non-profit organisations collaborate with the private sector and Government to build a more caring and giving Bermuda.”
