KPMG invites students to network

KPMG: staging student networking event next week

KPMG in Bermuda will host its annual K-Nect Student Networking Event next Monday.

The 2016 Summer K-Nect event is aimed at Bermudian college and university students, and recent graduates, who are studying accounting, finance or another business related subject.

Themed K-Nect @ the Kasino, the networking event will take an interactive approach to encourage attendees to meet with KPMG leadership, graduate students, experienced professionals and interns to find out how KPMG in Bermuda can help shape students’ interest in business and financial services into a rewarding career.

Steve Woodward, head of KPMG in Bermuda’s Student and Graduate Committee, said: “KPMG in Bermuda is committed to developing the talents of our people throughout all stages of their career – from students entering our internship and graduate programmes, to the next generation of leadership within the firm. We very much look forward to welcoming and speaking with all attendees of this year’s event.”

Attendees can expect to learn more about the company culture, the KPMG scholarship, the internship programme, graduate student programmes, and the many career opportunities available to them.

The July 18 event will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Rumbar, at the Victoria Grill, Hamilton. Light refreshments will be served, and there will be games, prizes and giveaways.

Students interested in attending the 2016 K-Nect event should register at rsvp@kpmg.bm or call 295-5063, extension 523.
