Get your point across
Communication. How often do you feel that your message is being misunderstood? Try as we can many times we do not clearly get our message across and end up frustrated that the action we were hoping to achieve does not take place. It is critical when seeking action to clearly define your objectives and outline the scope of the work.
Based on these clear objectives you can develop more specific options for review and discussion and move towards conclusions that may be implemented. So as you enter into discussions take the time to develop your end objectives so that you can make continual progress.
“Skill in the art of communication is crucial to a leader's success. He can accomplish nothing unless he can communicate effectively.” — Norman Allen
