Police are appealing for any witnesses, or good Samaritans who helped the woman, to call them at 295-0011.

ACE building plans approved

The second phase of ACE?s building plan has been approved by the Development Applications Board. Plans to build a six-storey office building at 17 Woodbourne Avenue, on the northern plot, were given the go ahead at the June 22 meeting.

However, ACE has no intention of building at this point in time. Amy Shillingford, director of communications at ACE, said the northern lot currently holds a tennis court which will continue to be there for ACE employees for the time being.

The submission of building plans was an administrative formality to ensure that when, and if, they choose to build on the site they can, she said.
