Customs officers are set to sign a deal with Government and end their threat of industrial action today.
Customs officers walked off the job late last month in protest over reduced overtime pay and overuse of part-time staff for front-line positions.
Officers felt understaffing had left the Island vulnerable to the importation of drugs and guns.
Fed-up staff had issued a 21-day strike notice although that lapsed as the Bermuda Public Services Union began talks with Government.
The Royal Gazette understands a deal has been reached and is likely to be signed today.
