Teen missing since Saturday
Police are asking the public for help in finding 17-year-old L'Torrean Durrant, who has been missing since May 24.
L'Torrean is described as fair-skinned, approximately 6ft, weighing around 145 pounds with braided brown hair.
He is known to hang around Heron Bay, Southampton, and areas in Somerset.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
Forecasters predict up to nine hurricanes
US Government forecasters expect between six and nine hurricanes to form in the Atlantic this year.
They say two to five of those could be major hurricanes.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration officials said they expected the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season to be near or above normal. They say there is a 60 to 70 percent chance of their predictions happening.
In all, they predict 12 to 16 named storms in 2008.
An average season has 11 named storms, including six hurricanes, of which two reach major status.
More Police patrols at Bull's Head
Motorists who park their vehicles at the Bull's Head car park are being advised by Police not to leave any valuables inside their unattended vehicles.
The advisory comes as reports of thefts from unattended vehicles at that location are on the rise. Officers will also be stepping up patrols of the area.
No arrests after disturbance
Police are investigating a disturbance that took place at Bernard's Park on Monday and involved several individuals, including a 16-year-old.
Details were unclear but it appears that none of the individuals involved wished to make a formal complaint to Police. Many were seen leaving the area as officers arrived. The 16-year-old youth was noticed to have sustained minor injuries to his face and left arm.
Zoom owner to wed here
John Boyle, the owner of Zoom airlines, will be getting married in Bermuda next month and the celebration looks like it will be a memorable one.
The June 13 wedding will be attended by 150 guests whom Mr. Boyle intends to fly to the Island from his native Scotland on one of his planes. The weekend will also feature a performance by Scottish pop music twins The Proclaimers, who gained some fame for hit song 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)'.
To celebrate the nuptials being held in Bermuda, Mr. Boyle is also intending to give his guests custom-made orange and red tartan Bermuda shorts, to match the colours of Motherwell Football Club which he owns.
The wedding will be the second for Mr. Boyle, who already has four children, while his bride-to-be, Donna Barrie, brings two children to the marriage.
Police issue another advisory about driving
Police are continuing to advise the motoring public to slow down and use more care on the roads and for car drivers to fasten their seat belts and motorcyclists to fasten helmets and avoid making third lanes.
During the past week there were 23 reported injury collisions, 38 damage only collisions, four people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 19 vehicles taken without their owner's consent.
These incidents took place in St. George's, Hamilton Parish, Smith's parish, Devonshire, Pembroke, Paget, Southampton and Sandys Parish.
No major incidents over weekend – Police
Three people were arrested over the Bermuda Day weekend on suspicion of impaired driving, Police said, and their were 12 reported burglaries.
There were also 16 reported damage-only road traffic collisions, ten reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 11 vehicles reported taken without their owners' consent.
Also, Police are thanking the public for co-operating during the holiday period.
A Bermuda Police Service statement said: "There was a normal level of activity reported to Police, with a few incidents of note, however, there were no major incidents reported over the long weekend."
