The Bermuda Police Service is asking residents to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. The public is urged to keep valuable items out of sight, preferably locked in a safe.
Also, Police are recommending that the serial numbers on more expensive items be written down and kept in a secure location away from the valuables. In the event that these items are stolen and later recovered the information can be used to identify them.
