Ship diverts with seriously ill crew member

A seriously ill crew member is to be brought ashore today from the container ship

Ocean Promise, according to Bermuda Martime Operations. The ship is expected to reach local waters at 6pm, to transfer its 46-year-old chief officer, a Croatian male, for treatment. The vessel is currently en route to Mexico, from Germany.
