New radio station launches today

A new radio station hits the local airwaves today. Vibe 103.3FM is the new station owned and operated by local recording artist

Collie Buddz.

The internationally acclaimed singer is looking to bring a fresh new approach to local radio with cutting edge entertainment utilising superior sound technology.

In a statement released yesterday, Collie Buddz said his station, will keep drive time commentary to a minimum. “Listeners will get less talk, and more music.”

And to set 103.3FM apart from other local stations he said: “There will be four exclusives, Inside Edition, a daily news magazine that gives audiences a compelling mix of hard hitting investigations, newsmaker interviews and human interest stories.”

Other features include the ET Radio Minute, Doctor’s Orders, featuring four medical practitioners and Sky Sports News, which carries the latest news from the Sky Sports UK news desk.

The sports segment will also headline stories in the English Premier League and other major competitions including Euro 2012 and World Cup competitions.

Overall he said: “Vibe 103.3FM will bring a fresh new approach to radio in Bermuda to give the local audience a mix of top 40 Caribbean and dance music with a subtle blend of both local and overseas news, weather, sports and entertainment.”

The station will also be aired via the internet by logging on to www.vibe103.com, or by downloading the free app for all mobile devices to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
