An injured female tourist had to be rescued from behind a garden wall after she crashed her rental scooter into it on Harbour Road, Paget, this afternon.All three emergency services were on the scene and the victim has just been rushed to hospital by ambulance.According to a police officer at the scene, the middle aged woman lost control of her bike but remained concious and did not appear to be seriously injured.She was accompanied by another middle aged woman on a separate scooter who appeared to be shocked and distressed.Cries from the injured woman could be heard coming from behind the wall as emergency medical technicians attended to her.The accident happened around 3.15pm.The scene has just been cleared and traffic is flowing freely once again.
