CURB calls on residents to celebrate MLK’s life

Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda (CURB) has encouraged Bermudians to celebrate the life of Dr Martin Luther King Jr today.In a press release, the organisation said: “Although we do not have a public holiday in his name we feel the need to honour his life and legacy as a man who spent his life fighting racial injustice and discrimination, and who paid the ultimate price for his beliefs.”The United States has a holiday today to celebrate Dr King.
