Front Street open to traffic

Front Street is now open to all traffic and a temporary sidewalk placed on the northern edge, following Thursday’s fire.
However, police have advised that the front of the Ann Cartwright DeCouto building, the site of the blaze, has been secured and no entry and danger signs have been placed prominently on the property.
The fire caused hundreds of thousands of dollars damage, impacted several businesses and resulted in long delays on the roads.
No cause for the fire has yet been determined.
