Upcoming road works

The Ministry of Public Works have advised the public of the following upcoming road works:

• On Saturday, April 1 from 8am until 5pm there will be traffic controls in place along East Broadway — both inbound and outbound — to allow for the resurfacing of the road. There will be no right turns permitted at Lane Hill while works are being carried out.

• On Sunday, April 2 (morning) traffic management measures will be in place to allow for the resurfacing of the Crow Lane roundabout. Trimingham Road will be closed to traffic coming into town and traffic will be directed via Berry Hill Road.

• On Sunday, April 2 (afternoon) traffic management measures will be in place along Middle Road from the Devonshire Post Office to Valley Road to allow for the resurfacing of the road.

• Starting on Monday, April 3 and continuing for the rest of the week, there will be a one lane closure along North Shore Road from Glebe Road to Band Room Lane to allow for road resurfacing.

• Starting on Monday, April 3 and continuing for the rest of the week, there will be a one lane closure on Marsh Folly Road from Dutton Avenue to the St. Monica’s Road junction to allow paving works to go ahead.

• Starting on Monday, April 3 and continuing for the rest of the week, there will be traffic management measures in place to regulate one lane traffic on South Road, Paget, by the Harmony Club, for trenching works. St Paul’s Lane will be closed to vehicles exiting Middle Road.

• Starting on Monday, April 3 and continuing for the rest of the week, Blackwatch Pass Road will be closed from 9am until 5pm so that remedial work can be carried out.

• On Sunday, April 3 from 8am until 5pm traffic will be reduced to single file over The Causeway/Longbird bridge to allow for re-decking works. Traffic should allow extra time due to the expected congestion caused by the works.

The works are weather dependant.
