A new culture and heritage website was launched by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs on the eve of Bermuda Day.The site will serve as a central point for information about events, programmes, and education.Lovitta Foggo, the community affairs minister, said the launch was “a wonderful way to close out Heritage Month”.She added: “We also want to meet the young people where they are.“This website, which will work in concert with the department’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages, serves as a platform to provide this kind of community engagement.”The website includes links to videos on the department’s YouTube channel, information on grants and sponsorships from the Bermuda Arts Council, downloadable study guides and education kits and details of lectures and events such as the Bermuda International Gombey Festival and the Bermudian Heartbeats Series.
