SKIPPER Ingham showed that age is not slowing down the karate master when he finished third at the 26th annual Battle of Baltimore last weekend. Ingham, 78, and who is the founder of Bermuda's original karate dojo, moved past his last tournament performance by placing third of five contestants in the Over 50 mens' forms division. Ingham had received a special invitation to compete from promotor John Burdyck and was accompanied by his student, Gladwin "Roots" Phillips, the chief instructor of ZenjiRyu in Bermuda.
