The latter pair crawled back into contention with a third-round 70 on Saturday, while Pitt/Ascento could only manage 73.
DeSilva/Morris had 74 and were in third place but ballooned to a 77 yesterday, enabling Carr/Dupuy to pull even.
That was followed by a 77 The ladies, meanwhile, played 54 holes with Sandy Hutchings and Kile Keever winning easily.
A final round 79 was the best of the day, allowing the two to extend their lead over second-placed Suzanne Brett and Joan Connors, 236 to 244. Valerie Nearon and Donna Jones took third on 248.
Net winners were Bill Wotton and Phil Lambert (269) for the men; Mary Bowmaster and Willy Veenendaal (213) for the women.
