A total of just 26 boats with 60 anglers aboard weighed in 173 fish, the majority yellowfin tuna.

Delayed for a week following bad weather on the previous Sunday, the annual summer tournament saw a whopping 5,184 pounds of fish brought to the scales at Dockyard. More than 4,000 pounds were caught by the larger boats in Class A but even the smaller Class B craft got in on the act with a total of 1,159 pounds. Captain Alan Bean and his team on Nothing's Easy led the way with a catch of 6601 -lbs to take overall and Class A honours but runner-up in that division, Capt. Robert Lambert on New Nuts , wasn't far behind with 5903 -lbs.

High point angler was Kimberley Barnes aboard Lone Star , who weighed in 471-lbs. Top lady was Kim Lightbourne on New Nuts with a catch of 1821 -lbs.

In Class B, Capt. Danny Fox on Dansar II topped the division with 3063 -lbs followed by Reel Magician (Capt. Richard Ricca) with 304-lbs.

Biggest fish of the day was landed in Class B by Adam Hines who hooked a 82-lb yellowfin tuna aboard No Name . George Moulder had the largest in Class A, a 611 -lb yellowfin on Olive A .

Danny Fox's 393 -lb specimen was the tournament's biggest wahoo while Lori Blackwell on Panchdara landed the largest wahoo in Class A, a 34-pounder.

While yellowfin made up the majority of the day's overall catch -- 158 in all -- also weighed in were one blackfin tuna, two albacore tuna and 12 wahoo.

The prize presentations take place Saturday evening at the Bacardi International building.

THE FISHER KINGS -- The anglers aboard Alan Bean's Nothing's Easy were the overall winners at the record-setting Bacardi Rum Tournament on the weekend, reeling in 660 1/2 pounds of fish. Overall, 173 tuna and wahoo were caught.
