Last year's Knockout Cup finalists, St. George's and Bailey's Bay, have avoided each other in the draw for this Saturday's semi-finals.

But while Bay should be favoured over Eastern Counties rivals Cleveland at Sea Breeze Oval, champions St. George's will have a harder time against Western Stars in the other match at St. David's.

The teams have met already this season in limited overs play, with Bay hammering Cleveland by eight wickets in their season opener and Stars routing St. George's by nine in the Camel Cup final. St. George's were dismissed for 62 and the shortest match in Camel Cup history was over before the tea break.

All four teams will be boosted by the return of players from the tour of England. St. George's will have Clay Smith, Dexter Smith, Dean Minors and Gregg Foggo return to their ranks while Stars will welcome back Arnold Manders, Jeff Richardson and Albert Steede. Cleveland had Allan Douglas and Jermaine Postlethwaite on the tour while Bay lost Charlie Marshall.

North Village beat Bailey's Bay by four wickets in an under 17 league match on Saturday at Sea Breeze Oval, dismissing their hosts for 99 and replying with 100-6.

Jim West accounted for almost half of the Bay runs, scoring 45 while captain Steven Outerbridge scored 20. They were the only two batsmen in double figures as Koffi Dill claimed three for 27 with the new ball and Vance Darrell three for 12. Supporting with two wickets apiece were Tarik Jennings and Omari Dill, both with two for 20 from five overs.

Jameiko Jennings led the Village batting with 27 not out while opener Tarik Jennings scored 12 and Darrell 10. The next major contribution was 26 extras as Village completed victory in 24.3 overs. Outerbrige claimed three for 16 from five overs.
