Skippered by Andreas Lewin Contest proved unstoppable in seizing both the Trott and St. George's Dinghy & Sports Club cups while at the same time extending their lead in the overall standings.

After entering the day with a points advantage of eight and three-quarters over Sandys Boat Club's Challenger , Contest increased the deficit to 123 by the end to stand well poised for a second straight title with only three weeks of competition remaining.

Challenger II recorded a second and fourth on Sunday as did stable-mate Echo , while Port Royal II managed a pair of third place finishes.

Echo remained third overall in the standings with 511 points followed by Port Royal (483 ), Elizabeth II (431 ) and Victory IV (35).
