Quiet second
recorded yesterday in the second day of the Bermuda Anglers Club's 30th International Light Tackle Tournament.
Best fish of the day was a 45.3-pound Yellowfin Tuna caught by Bill Duval of Virginia Anglers.
High point angler was Robert Trosset of Hatteras Trouble with 13,827.52 points and he was also the high point angler yesterday therefore retaining the high point angler for the tournament after two days of fishing.
High point boat for the day was Striker I, skippered by Capt. Clifton Lambert, with 13,827.52 points.
High point team for the second day running was Hatteras. There were 39 releases and 14 fish were boated.
Meanwhile, Richard Ricca (pictured below) will have to wait about three months before he knows whether the 30.7-pound Blackfin Tuna he caught on an eight-pound test line on the opening day of the tournament on Monday will be a world record. That confirmation will come from the International Game Fish Association. The present world record is a 30-pound Blackfin Tuna.
Ricca is representing the Bermuda Anglers Club in the tournament.
