successfully advancing to the next round of the Commercial Knock-out Cup.

KPMG were Raiders' unwilling victims, losing 3-1, while Devonshire Lions fell prey to rampaging Fire Service by a convincing 7-2 margin.

Leading the charge for Raiders was Allan Fray, who scored twice, with Chris Furbert adding insurance from the penalty spot. Neil Clemens was on target for KPMG as all the scoring took place in the first half.

For Service, Troy Furbert once again supplied most of the firepower, his four goals on their own enough to send the Lions scurrying. Also getting in on the scoring act were Steven Caines, Roger Dill and Alex Swan. Gary Bascome and Terry Bean replied for Devonshire.

In Commercial League Cup Group A action BAA Wanderers broke out of the doldrums with a 5-2 mauling of Exiles as Gary Flood and Arthur Reilly each netted twice to go with a single Miguel Pereira strike.

Raymond Durham and Craig Tyrrell netted for Exiles, who trailed 3-1 at half-time.

Meanwhile, Island Rangers gained sweet revenge from a 5-3 loss to Robin Hood last weekend, this time turning the tables on the Hood men for a 2-1 triumph as Wendell (Nipper) Anderson tallied two goals, one in each half, to offset a Tim Perry score.

In Group B play former Devonshire Colts First Division player Jeff Richardson showed that he still has a knack for finishing when he plundered North Village Rams for five goals representing Devonshire Colts All-Stars in a 5-4 victory over North Village Rams.

Richardson netted a first half hat-trick as All-Stars led 3-0 and followed with two more in the second.

However, Rams almost pulled another miraculous come-back, netting four times after the interval, but unable to notch the all important equaliser. Scorers for Rams were Mel Bean (two), Leroy (Curly Joe) Wilson and Alan Smith.

ALLAN FRAY -- Raider sparkplug, right, scored pair.
