Bermuda sailors yesterday continued to dominate the World International One Design (IOD) Championships being held in Norway.

Blythe Walker and Penny Simmons stand first and second respectively after the first five races -- Walker soaring to third and first place finishes in yesterday's two races.

The Bermuda duo lead a field of 16 sailors.

Simmons was first in the opening race yesterday but stumbled to a 14th place finish in the second race.

That has been the only blemish on what has been an outstanding week for Walker and Simmons.

Third overall is Urban Ristorp of Sweden while James McCreary of the US is fourth.

The next two races take place tomorrow with the final race scheduled for Friday. Competitors are permitted to discard their weakest race result.
