Bridge teams on fire at Beijing Games

Bermuda's men's and ladies' bridge teams have enjoyed a remarkable day at the World Mind Sports Games in Beijing.
After notching their first win on Monday when the men's team recorded a 24-6 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina, it got even better yesterday.
The Island's Open Team defeated Bosnia 24-6, beat Singapore 17-13 and proved too strong for Chile, winning 24-6.
The ladies then won their first match, beating Russia 16-14.
Bermuda's squad consists of Jack Rhind (captain), Sven Pride, Margie Way, Tony Saunders, Jean Johnson, Alan Douglas, Madga Farag, Jane Smith, Sheena Rayner, Gertie Barker, Craig Hutton, Rachael Gosling and John Burville.
The Olympic-sponsored event also includes chess, draughts and Go.
