Chris Douglas struck 130 runs to lead Warwick to a comfortable seven-wicket triumph over Somerset Bridge in First Division action at White Hill field yesterday.

With Douglas in top form visitors Warwick were able to coast to victory, the talented young all-rounder striking nine fours and two sixes during his finest knock of the season. Also among the runs was Jade Darrell who scored 17.

With Douglas in dominating form Warwick required 38 overs before reaching victory. Noel Woods was the top bowler for Bridge finishing with two for 38 off nine overs.

Earlier Jermaine Salaam was undefeated on 62 to top the home team batting while Woods followed on 23 and Adrian Burrows and Corvett Lambert on 22 apiece.

Rohaan Davis did the bowling damage for Warwick taking three for 32 off 10 overs with a maiden while John Woodley had two for 50 off eight overs. Reuna Richardson, believed to be the only female cricketer in the league, had one for 24 from eight overs.

Dennico Hollis struck 57 not out and Steven Outerbridge claimed four for 33 off five overs to lead Bay to a five-wicket win at Sea Breeze Oval.

Incredibly, all of Outerbridge's wickets came during one over and off consecutive balls.

Glenn Blakeney also contributed to the Bay total with 19 while Reid Trott and Cal Dill Jr. took two for eight apiece, Trott off just four overs and Dill off 7.2 overs. Wayne Campbell was top bat for Stars with 27 while Jah Millett scored 20 and Justin Robinson 17.
