Susan Simons ran the table as she won both the Ladies Singles and Mixed Doubles Darts tournament at Sandy's Boat Club this past Monday, defeating mother Liz Hickmott in the singles finals.

With the victory, Simons moves within two points of number one Jenny Faries, who won the B.A.A tournament and reached the semi finals in Monday's competition.

In the semi finals, Simons overcame a spirited challenge from Janet Dublin to win 2 -1, while Hickmott defeated Faries 2 - 0 in the second semi final match.

After both winning a leg each, Simons took out double 10 to take the match & the title.

In the Mixed Doubles event, Simons and her doubles partner, Simon Carruthers, were in impressive form defeating Janet Dublin and Richard Hazelwood with Simons hitting double sixes to take the first leg and Carruthers hit double tens to seal the match and take the title.

Anne Morgan and Craig Christensen were the first victims of the champions as they went down two-nil –after Carruthers hit a 105 finish, treble five and then Bull's-eye (50) to settle matters.

The pair then sent Liz an Steve Hickmott packing with a score of 2-0to reach the final.

League play resumes on November 10th, with a full round of 1st & 2nd Division Fixtures.
