Limiting the risk of cybercrime
Work is ongoing to reduce the risk of online attacks, the Minister of National Security told MPs.
Wayne Caines delivered a ministerial statement in the House of Assembly last Friday, when he said that the island needed to develop its protection against cyber threats.
He said: “Cybercrime and cybersecurity issues continue to threaten individuals, the Government and Bermuda.
“They threaten our privacy, our financial success and our reputation. “We must continue to drive the implementation of the Bermuda National Cyber Security Strategy and the internal Government security programme.
“We must also continue to promote awareness and build our capacity to protect our jurisdiction against cyber threats.”
