Industry veteran Tim Ronda is to join TigerRisk Partners LLC as a senior executive.

The risk, capital and strategic adviser to the global insurance and reinsurance industries said that the hire further strengthens TigerRisk’s position as an elite player in the reinsurance marketplace.

Mr Ronda’s employment with TigerRisk will start on October 14.

The company said that Mr Ronda’s most recent position was global geographic leader of Reinsurance Solutions at Aon.

Before that, he was Aon’s president of Reinsurance Solutions for the United States. He was also a member of the firm’s reinsurance solutions global executive committee.

Before joining Aon, Mr Ronda was a senior vice-president at Guy Carpenter.

In addition to his executive roles at Aon, TigerRisk said, Mr Ronda is known for his expertise in areas such as property, management liability, E&O, employment practices, general and excess liability and workers’ compensation.

Mr Ronda graduated from Washington & Lee University with degrees in business administration and accounting. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
