Khano’s future up in the air

Khano Smith remains a free agent after not being picked up in Wednesday's Major League Soccer (MSL) second re-entry draft,

writes Stephen Wright.

The Bermuda international was one of 22 out of 35 unprotected players not selected in either re-entry draft, the first being last week.

Smith's footballing future now remains unclear although he could still sign for another MLS club on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 29-year-old re-signed for the New England Revolution last term following a brief loan spell at Lincoln City in England but had an indifferent campaign and was one of four players cut from their roster at the end of last season.

n Robin Hood and MR Onions shared the points in a goalless draw at BAA Field on Thursday night.

Hood remain in second place in the First Division three points behind Somerset Trojans, while MR Onions lie in fifth position.
