Every year, T. N. Tatem Middle School holds a week-long math celebration called Math-a-Thon.

This year, Math-a-Thon was held at the school in the Thomas Nelson Tatem Auditorium from March 29th to April 1st. The competition tests the students' mental skills and quickness with math problems. This takes place during the morning and the whole school attends.

Each year level gets a day to compete by houses. The final day is a championship round where each team is made up of a student in each year level for each house. On the first day guests from Sandys Middle School also attended. The overall winning house was Williams House.
