It was part of their community service project. When P4 Cann arrived, they waited outside for the principal, Mrs Dill, to let them in. Once inside the school, the students were told to read to different classes and also were told to switch classes. The students from Paget Primary really enjoyed reading to the younger children. Mykah Smith stated, “I really enjoyed reading my picture book to the younger children.”The children loved the book the primary students read. There were about nine children in each class. At the end of the reading, the pre-schoolers had questions to ask about their book.
