Networking for women
Allied World Bermuda hosted its first internal Women’s Networking event.
More than 50 women from Allied World attended the event, which was a seminar titled Women and Finances Managing Your Finances without Prince Charming presented by Carla Seely, Sr. Wealth Manager and Cindy Campbell, Chief Operating Officer at AFL Investments, a local wealth management firm.
Carla and Cindy discussed both short and long-term financial goals, retirement, wills and estate planning, and the appropriate investment vehicles to achieve such objectives.
The presentation was followed by a reception on Allied World’s 7th floor patio for women to network with co-workers and the AFL Investment team.
Allied World Bermuda is aiming to host a Women’s Networking event quarterly as a way to promote mentorship and foster career development amongst women, and is also interested to partner with similar groups at other companies.
