A four-year-old was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after a motorcycle crash on Middle Road.
According to a police spokesman, at around 8.30pm on Thursday police and first responders attended a crash near the junction with Verdmont Road in Smiths.
The motorcycle rider, a 29-year-old St Georges man and his pillion passenger, a four-year-old St Georges boy were injured, the spokesman said.
Members of the public as well as emergency services promptly came to their assistance and both victims were taken to the hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Their injuries were not considered to be serious and as of press time last night both were in stable condition.
