Covid-19 test centre opens
A permanent Covid-19 testing site for travellers opened in Hamilton yesterday at the Perot Post Office on Queen Street.
The announcement by Kim Wilson, the health minister, came as 734 new test results for coronavirus came back clear.
Ms Wilson thanked staff from the ministries of health and public works for their work to get the new test centre up and running so fast. She added: “The Ministry of Health is seeking medical personnel to assist our testing teams with the swabbing of individuals for Covid-19.
“Individuals will be compensated for their time and should contact email@example.com for more information or to express an interest.”
