Appleby names Moller group managing partner

Malcolm Moller: named group managing partner at international law firm Appleby

Malcolm Moller is the new group managing partner at international law firm Appleby.Mr Moller is joined on the firm’s board by Bermudian lawyer Cameron Adderley, who is global practice group head of corporate, and managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office.Also on the board are John Wasty, a Bermuda permanent resident’s certificate holder who is global dispute resolution co-head and Bermuda dispute resolution head; James Gaudin, a corporate partner in Jersey; and Simon Raftopoulos, a corporate partner in Cayman.Mr Moller, at Appleby since 2003, worked in the firm’s Bermuda office and led the opening of offices in Mauritius and the Seychelles. He will continue as managing partner in both locales.He said: “It’s an honour and a privilege to lead Appleby. I have worked at Appleby for over 17 years and so I know the hard work and dedication which is a hallmark of our firm. I am proud to be leading a team of talented and committed people working across all of our global locations.”Appleby has offices in ten jurisdictions worldwide, including Bermuda.
